Season Launch 2010/11
Greetings all
Welcome to the launch of the 2010/11 cricket season.
You may notice that the colour theme on the website has changed from last season's maroon to "marine blue". This is in line with on our Association's Annual report having a different colour designated to its front cover each season.
The start date for the season is 25 September which isn't that far away. All members should now start looking to dust off the kit bag in preparation for an exciting season ahead.
This season for the first time we are wearing the blue field shirt for all matches. Members should contact the Honorary Secretary if you wish to order additional shirts.
Season 2010/11 marks an important part of our history. This is our 10th Anniversary. A number of initiatives will be run during the course of this 10th Anniversary season. Members will receive a number of giveaways and we will be launching a special 10th Anniversary Round of Cricket in the second half of the season during Shires Round 10 on Saturday February 5 - We expect ALL active shires umpires to be available to officiate on this date to try and fill all matches in this round of cricket with umpires.
We hope all members have an enjoyable season in 2010/11

I want to thank all members for your continued participation during the season. Next year is our 10th anniversary and we still have so much more to achieve in this anniversary season. I hope ALL members can please be more involved, we want to aim to be able to appoint SSCUA members to all matches in all grades on at least 3 or 4 occasions in season 2010/11. To do this though, we need the help of each and every one of our members.
See you all in 2010/11
